Style: About 300 Buddhist monks participated in the cloaking ceremony on Sundays held by the Bodh Style Temple Management Committee (BTMC) at the Mahabodhi Heritage Heritage Campus Mahavihara.
The event’s direct telesast was made on YouTube for Buddhist followers.
It was the first annual event held in the Bodh style after a two-year gap.
With this, the 2021-22 tourist season starts.
BTMC has also released a list of annual events that will be held under the Holy Bodhi Tree.
In the morning, Buddhist monks took procession from the BTMC office to Mahabodhi Mahavihara.
They offer prayers and ‘kheer’ before the Lord’s Buddha statue at Sanctum Sanctorum.
Bollywood actor Gagan Malik, who played a major role in the film feature titled ‘The Siddhartha Gautama’, attended the event on Sunday as a guest as a guest.
Monks from other Buddhist countries living in Thai Monastery, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Cambodia etc.

The cloak offer ceremony was held after the end of three months of rain.
During the rainy season, Buddhist monks generally have to stay indoors in meditation.
After the season ends, they are offered everyday use to lead routine lives.
One among the monks, who followed all Rainy Retreat protocols were selected and offered Vivara (robes), in addition to other items from everyday use.
Manoj bhikkhu was chosen for this, during the event on Sunday.
The list of proposed events released by BTMC includes 32 Nyingma Monlam Chenmo (prayer for world peace) from February 2 to February 11 and the ceremony of Tipitaka International singing ranging from March 8 to 18.
Other events include seven days of Mani Dhunchur Monlam for peace from January.
18 to 24, Five Day Dechod Monlam from January 26 to 31, five days Dolma Bhuchhok from 16 to 20 February.
