3,000 Narmada Parikrama pilgrims stranded in Gujarat

Letter / Bharuch: close to 3,000 pilgrims who do Narmada Parikrama (concuss) stranded in the midst of the bad weather that produces rain not the season and biting cold since Tuesday.

Food arrangements are made for more than 700 people at Ramkund Ashram since Wednesday night and so on.
Jignesh Patel, President, Rotary Club of Ankleshwar, said, “As soon as we knew, our team rushed with a blanket at night.
Those who fell sick were given drugs on Thursday morning.” “We will continue to provide support to pilgrims who are stranded,” said Kamlesh Dand from Mahaveer International.
Gangadas Bapu from Ramkund Annkshetra, Ankleshwar, said “Usually, we arrange food here for 70 to 100 people, but when the Parikrams suddenly stopped, there were more than 700 people here.
