3,104 Covid Cases, 92 Deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Tuesday reported 3,104 cases of Covid-19 new and 92 deaths, taking the total number of infections to 28.59 lakh and tolls to 35,526.
That day also saw 4,992 release, continuing to exceed the number of new cases, taking the total number of recovery in the state of 27,84,030.
Of the 3,104 new cases reported on Tuesday, 715 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 1,863 release and only 15 deaths, said the Bulletin Health Department.
The total number of active cases in Karnataka is 40,016.
While the level of front of the day reached 2.65%, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.96%.
Of the 92 deaths reported on Tuesday, 15 originated from Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada (13), Mysore (8), Dharwad and Kolar (7), followed by others.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 715, Mysore 389, Hassan 270, Dakshina Kannada 216, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District topped a list of positive cases, with a total of 12,16,896, followed by Mysuru 1.68,546 and Tumakuru 1,15,716.
Among the release too, Bengaluru Urban was above with 11,86,973, followed by Mysuru 1,62,658 and Tumaku 413,317.
Cumulatively total 3.51.52,131 samples have been tested in a state so far, where 1,16,912 was carried out on Tuesday.
