New Delhi: Minister of Transportation Kailash Gahlot marked 32 floors of low and air-conditioned on Monday, taking the calculation of the Delhi public bus fleet to 6,793.
Gahlot said that since March 2020, the Delhi government has shot 452 public transport buses in accordance with BS-VI, including 32 which are marked on Monday.
“Equipped with the latest world-class technology, special care has been taken for the convenience, convenience, and passenger safety on all these buses.
We will continue to bring new buses on the streets of Delhi,” he said.

Of a total of 6,793 public transport buses in Delhi’s Road now, there are 3,760 buses in the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) fleet and the number of buses running under the cluster scheme reaching 3,033 on Monday.
At present, bus clusters are operated on 306 routes in Delhi and 32 of these buses will be deployed on four additional routes – 993, 380, 390 and 244.
A total of 1,000 CNG-Run, air-conditioned buses are being installed under the cluster scheme and the first lot of 100 buses were launched in February 2020.
Gahlot said buses bragging with advanced technology features, including real-time passenger information systems, CCTV cameras, GPS, fire detection and oppression systems, regardless of friendly friendly friendly.
He also said that women’s passenger safety has increased and the bus will display live video streaming if an emergency, panic, pink seats are provided for women and other modern facilities.
If a female passenger feels discomfort, he can press the panic button, added the minister.
Spokesman Delhi BJP Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that the state government had failed to provide a strong public transport system in the capital and said he had to buy 3,000 buses for DTC.
He alleged that the scheme for the procurement of buses for DTC had not succeeded and the government only brought several private buses under the cluster scheme.
