Mumbai: A 32-year-old man was arrested by MIDC police on Sunday to abuse sexually teen sex in Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road.
MIDC police have booked it on charges of persecution.
The 19-year-old victim walked along the JVLR early Sunday morning when the defendant was allegedly walked from behind him and slipped his arm at his waist.
He then pushed him, causing him to fall on the road.
The audience rushed forward in finding the incident and facing the defendant.
When the girl complained, the crowd dropped it and called the police.
The girl pressed the following fees alleged to be suspended.
The police identified the defendant as Amalchandra Kole, an unemployed man without a criminal record of the past.
Kole has been ordered based on part 354 IPC and produced before the judge court.
