33 new cases in city, positivity rate at 1%

Gurgaon: The city on Friday reported 33 new cases of Covid-19 taking the caseload to 1,80,458.
With this, the city’s positivity rate stands as 1% and the active cases account for 452.
On Friday, three deaths were reported in the city taking the toll to 866.
The fatality rate stands at 0.4%.
Gurgaon on Friday also saw recovery of 73 people, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,79,140.
The recovery rate stands at 99.3% at present.
Meanwhile, 92 people were sent to institutional quarantine facilities on Friday.
So far, 15,82,344 people have been put under surveillance.
In the past 24 hours, the health authorities collected 4,243 samples for antigen and RT-PCR tests.
Till now, 15,69,758 samples have been sent for testing, of which 13,85,057 returned negative while the results of 2,185 are awaited.
At present there are 38 patients (severe cases) in hospitals and 414 patients in home isolation.
