33% Reserve for Women in Technology, medical Schools

PATNA: Chief ministry (CM) Nitish Kumar on Wednesday requested the officials of this science and engineering and also the medical and health education sections to take essential measures to book minimum 33.3percent seats for women in most medical and engineering colleges.
“The 33.3% quota for women could be released in most medical and engineering schools throughout the nation in the forthcoming academic session (2021-22).
For this, Bihar is now the first country in the nation to supply 33.3% quota to women in the technical schools,” that a secretary-rank IAS officer, who also didn’t wish to be recognized, told TOI on Wednesday.
