Coimbatore: At least 3,366 candidates in the commotion to post a local urban body 802 in the district.
At City Corporation, 778 candidates are in a race for 100 matches of the female council members.
According to the State Election Election Commission, 1,130 candidates have submitted a nomination for the position of City Corporation’s corporate board, the second highest in the state after Chennai Corporation.ward 97 has the highest number of 23 candidates, while Ward 3 has five lowest candidates.
Election officials have rejected more than 140 nominations during the examination, while the 264 candidates pulled their nomination on Monday, the last date to do so.
While many self-interesting candidates are dummies who are reduced by political parties, some independently choose to choose.

The statement said the three, along with several other people from all states, was excluded from the party for activities such as interesting nominations to let DMK candidates win in local agency polls and fight as rebel candidates.
