34 monkeys trapped in trees in the dam waters are saved

Amravati: It took three days of sustainable efforts from the team from the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to save 34 monkeys who were trapped for five days in a sour tree surrounded by water dam near Samda Kashipur in Daryapur Tehsil.
The team reached a tree on board and lured the monkey by offering bananas, biscuits and fruits.
The animals were then released in the forest.
The water level in the reservoir has increased after Daryapur received excessive rain on July 11.
The troops of 30-40 monkeys have been sheltered in a two-km sour tree from the beach.
The next morning the workers worked on the farm close to the dam watching the monkey and told Tehsildar Yogesh Deshmukh, which brought this problem to notice the collector’s office.
The Chairman of the DDMA and Collector Pawanet Kaur immediately ordered the rescue team that will be sent to the place.
The team reached a point at 9 am on July 15.
At 7pm on the first day, 17 monkeys were saved while 13 were saved on day 2 and four on 3.
“The team saved 34 monkeys, including some young people.
Two died of snake bites.
While some did not take a boat, some themselves succeeded Reach the coast, “said Tehsildar Yogesh Deshmukh.
The village residents praised the rescue team consisting of Hemant Sarkate, Kaustubh Vaidya, Bhushan Bais, Uday More, Gaurav Jagtap, Hiralal Pawar, Akash Nimkar, Arjun Sundarde, Pankaj Yewale, Rajendra Shahakra, Prajayla Bhusari, Ajay ASOLE, Munde and Purusthottam Purusottam.
The team was led by the Srpf Harsh Poddar Commander, DCF Chandrashekhar Bala, RDC Nitin Vyavahare, ACF Jyoti Pawar, RFO Pradeep Bhad, DDMA Officer Surendra Ramekar and Pi Maruti Neware.
