Gurugram: More than 35 people were injured after the bus, they traveled with turtles near the Mitrol Village in Palwal on Saturday night.
The police said the bus headed to Madhya Pradesh from Kapashera and more than 100 passengers.
When reaching Palwal around 10:30 a.m., the driver missed his turn and lost control near the gas station.
Some passengers accused him of drinking alcohol, which had not been confirmed by the police.
Others claim that the bus is driven at high speed.
Many of them were injured losing awareness after an accident and attended by a doctor in place.
An eight-year-old boy with a serious injury shifted to the government medical college in Nalhar.
Police said the driver, who immediately escaped from the scene, was ordered under the relevant section at the Mundkati police station.
“We tried to find it and scan CCTV cameras,” Singh said.
