Letter: Police arrested a 35-year-old man for allegedly raping and killing a two-year-old little girl.
The deceased, living in a neighbor’s house accused Guddu Yadav, the native of Bihar, was kidnapped on Thursday and had been lost since then.
His body was found in the bushes in the open plot in the Pandesara industrial area in Ambedkar Kamla Chowk Road on Sunday morning.
The defendant was identified from nearly 500 CCTV recordings scanned to get instructions since Thursday.
Medical examination revealed that minor died of freezing and he had a sign of injury to his body due to bite and scratches.
He suffered a serious injury in the private section too.
The investigation revealed that Yadav sexually attacked minor immediately after kidnapping and killing him.
Yadav lived on the same lane where the victim remained with his family and he picked up the girl and left outside his home at night Diwali.
The minor was kidnapped around 8:30 a.m.
The family member was busy working when he was kidnapped.
After a while, they realized that the girl lost and began looking for her but failed to find it.
The family warned the police after looking for children for almost three hours.
“The police arrested the defendant and we will try to make him punished as early as possible.
The police will make sure to bring allegations of justice in a short time,” said Ajay Tomar, Commissioner of the City Police.
Yadav has been ordered for abduction, sexual assault, rape and unnatural sex under the Indian criminal code and children’s protection of the acts of sexual violations (Pocso).
