New Delhi: In the breasts of the biggest drug in its history, Delhi’s special cells have confiscated 354kg of first grade heroin which surprised Rs 2,500 Crore in the international market.
The four main kartel members, including chemists who turn raw powder into pure heroin, have been arrested.
The network is spread in several countries with Canadian-based, Portugal and Afghanistan and many active modules in India to carry out Narco-terrorism activities in the country, police said.
The cartel, investigation has revealed, importing under the closing of legitimate items such as powder stones, gypsum powder and basil seeds, packed in materials such as gunny bags, cartons etc.
Then transported in a container to Iran’s chabahar port.
“From there, the consignment containing contrabanded goods was sent to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Mumbai.
After that, the material was separated from legitimate shipments and sent to emergency factories,” said DCP (Cell) Pramod Kushwaha to Ti.
Special chemical experts from Afghanistan then associate to process contraband goods and turn them into pure heroin and sell well.
One of these processors, Hazrat Ali from Kandahar, was among those who were arrested.
His colleague, Rizwan Kashmir from Anantnag, has also been captured as well as two members of the Punjab wing from this cartel.
About 100kg of chemicals used to turn raw antup goods into pure heroin has also been confiscated.
This operation was carried out by ACPS Lalit Mohan Negi and Hriday Bhushan from the new range of Delhi cells.
The team has solved a similar module in 2019.
Developing leads that has come from the operation, ACP Negi knows that a suspect named Rizwan deals with drugs in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.
On July 5, specific information was accepted about the Rizwan movement in the Ghitori area in South Delhi.
Inspector of Vinod Badola, the Sundar Gautam and the others put a trap and arrest the suspect with a 1kg of heroin.

The two men claimed that they worked for Portugal-based handles named Navpreet Singh.
Gurpreet had met him when both were filed in the prison in the case of drugs.
Navpreet works in coordination with his colleagues in Afghanistan, Iran and Canada.
Meanwhile, based on Rizwan’s disclosure, the police arrested Hazrat Ali and seized chemicals and heroin from Him.
Ali and the other are part of the chemical module of this syndicate and operating from emergency factories in various states, the biggest of them is in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, right now.
“The local residents, with the help of Afghanists, process heroin and various chemicals needed for this bought by members of the network from various chemical stores located in MP and Delhi.
After preparation, Heroin was sent to Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan J & & K and various other parts of India use a different supply chain, “said DCP Kushwaha.
People who are arrested are part of various components of this network.
This module is thought to be part of a larger network.
Police Commissioner Balaji Srivastava was studied to form a special team to dig throughout the Nexus.
