362 families who lost relatives for Covid apply to compensation

Greater Noida: A total of 362 families in Noida, Greater Noida and other parts of Gautam Budh Nagar who lost their relatives for Covid had submitted an application to claim compensation from the Uttar Pradesh Government.
Meanwhile, the country has formed a death team for death to consider compensation claims where families do not have a covid positive report.
In October, the state has announced the financial assistance of Rs 50,000 for families.
Nearly Rs 2.34 Crore will be distributed among those who lost members of infections over the past two years.
All district judges have instructed to compile the list of people who died because of Covid since March 2020.
Gautam Budh Nagar reported 467 deaths like that.
“We have got the application of 362 families.
We tried to reach 105 left.
Some are not present in the city today or do not have the required documents,” said additional district judges (finance and income) Vandita Srivastava.
After the announcement of compensation, some families who did not have a positive Covid report also approached the Collectorate building in Surajpur for compensation.
Residents of Sector 25, Sharad K, lost their father’s uncle to Covid on April 2021.
“I did not complete RT-PCR.
My uncle has a problem breathing and dies after being in the ward of intensive care for five days.
My aunt moved to Faridabad with his son.
I tried Collect documents, “he said.
Displaimer teams will now handle such cases, said Srivastava.
“The toll can be higher than 467.
So, the team will examine the documents delivered by residents who do not have a positive report,” Srivastava added.
Led by Srivastava, the team consisted of Chief Medical Officer, two additional medical officers (CMOS) and a doctor from the Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida.
“The family who recognizes their relatives in the hospital will be able to produce several documents.
Meanwhile, the family, who has their relatives in home isolation, will have other documents such as doctor prescriptions, receipts from chemists for drugs, x-ray or HRCT (high resolution) film and report, etc., “Committee members said.
The Supreme Court monitors the response of all countries in this matter.
The court has asked the government to provide such cases that are handled.
The trial in this case will take place on December 13.
The state has reported nearly 23,000 Covid deaths.
