365 new cases, 8 deaths were reported in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Thursday reported 365 new cases of Covid-19 and 8 deaths, took Caseload to 29,84,849 and the death toll became 37,984, the health department said.
Today also saw 443 release, pushing the total recovery amount to 29,37,848, leaving 8,988 active cases.
Bengaluru Urban contributed 210 new infections, because the city saw 220 release and 4 deaths.
While the level of participation for the day was established at 0.31 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.19 percent.
Apart from Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada, Dharwad, Shivamogga and Tumakuru registered one death.
After Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada and Hassan each recorded the highest of 33 fresh cases, MySuru 17 and Shivamogga 12.
Bengaluru urban district now has a total of 12.50,125 positive cases, followed by Mysuru 1,78,862 and Tumaku 4,20,617.
Among the release as well, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 12.27,149, followed by MySuru 1.76,094 and Tumakuru 1,19,267.
Cumulatively, 4.98.07,867 samples have been checked so far, where 1,17,713 was tested on Thursday.
