Chandigarh: Minister Haryana for Justice and Social Empowerment Om Prakash Yadav said the raid was being carried out at illegal drug rehabilitation centers in the state and 37 people were saved from the center in Panipat Regency.
Yadav said the De-Addiction Narcotics Center was run illegally in the village of Binjhol Panipat.
He said to get information about illegal centers, a team formed and the attack was carried out under the supervision of an additional deputy commissioner officer and 37 addicts were saved and received at a civil hospital in Panipat for treatment.
During the attack, the central owner could not produce a certificate confirmed by the government Haryana to run the De-Addiction drug center.
Social justice and the Minister of Empowerment say a case has been registered at the rehabilitation center at the Town model police station in Panipat.
Yadav said strict actions would begin with those who run illegal centers.
At present, 104 central de-addiction drugs operate in the state.
According to the rules, these central operators must obtain a certificate from the government.
