38 Instances, 30 arrests in Town for child Porn in last eight Weeks

Nagpur: Approximately 30 men were detained in 38 instances of child porn registered by town authorities beneath CP Amitesh Kumar in nine months.

Activist Mahendra Limaye underlined that child porn was an offence under Section 67B of the IT Act but exploring agencies must use discretion to distinguish which child porn involving sexual pursuits and that are innocent photos using no mischief motives.
Psychiatrist Rajesh Rathi said a few folks are sexual addicts or reveal compulsive behaviour to get rid of anxiety etc while there are those people who resort to child porn because of mere’situational’ state.
The last kinds are the people who can be tagged as’paedophiles’.
“Additionally, there are individuals categorized below anti-social personality disorder (ASPD) who may also indulge in child porn,” said Rathi.
