38,500 members of the self-help group to get a website to sell products

Panaji: Nearly 38,500 members of the Swadaya Group (SHG) in the state will soon be able to sell handicrafts and homemade products online with the help of e-commerce websites that will be launched on independence day.
The website will allow them to show off their products and connect it with buyers not only from caves, but also throughout the world.
Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant will launch a website for the District Rural Agency (DRDA), North Goa, on Sunday.
The website will be operated by the Rural Development Department through the GSRLM State Miss Manager and the buyer will directly contact SHG members for shipping and payment of the product.
The maximum RS 40,000 is being released under the Pradhan Mantri formalizing the micro food processing company scheme (PMFME) for each beneficiary.
