Greater Noida: Ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 25 to lay the foundation stone for the Noida International Airport to come in Rohi Village, a heavy police have been deployed in the Ball area.
A team from Ground Protection (SPG) reached a place on Monday to review security and preparation settings and short local police officers.
The central and local intelligence unit has been active in the area.
NSG and ATS ATS commandos will most likely arrive for security improvements near the site on Tuesday.
“While SPG leads the security forces for VVIP visits such as PM, Command NSG and ATS ATS will also form the point,” a police officer said.
DCP (Greater Noida) Amit Kumar said more than 3,000 police personnel, including Constable, police chief, sub-inspector and inspector, will be deployed for the visit.
“Half of them have been sourced from other districts.
About 1,500 belongs to Gautam Budh Nagar,” he added.
More than 500 personnel have been deployed at various points in the area around the site where the foundation stone will be placed.
The five layers of security will exist for the event, including civil police personnel and two units of fast action power, one Indo-Tibetan border unit and six companies from the provincial armed constitution.
The police also explore the air supervision options through drones.
Local BJP leaders, including GB Nagar MP, Dr.
Mahesh Sharma, Jewar Mla Dhirendra Singh, Dadri Mla Tejpal Nagar, Sikandrabad Mla Bimla Singh Solanki and Khurja Mla Vijendra Singh have regularly visited the site with senior officials of Yamuna Authority.
The minute to minute program is likely to be released a few hours before the arrival of PM to the district.
On Tuesday, Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister is expected to visit the city also to review preparations for the foundation stone ceremony.
