CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Tuesday vaccinated 16,932 men from the age class of 18-44 decades, taking the complete number of educated individuals within this category to 4,27,329. They all have been treated Covishield vaccine. The whole goal was met from the state authorities to this particular group without any dose. The country nodal officer for vaccination Vikas Garg stated that settlement groups from the age of 18-44 years have been shaped from the state authorities and those were vaccinated aggressively. He said the state authorities had obtained a total of 4.29 lakh doses with this age category. Providing details of vaccination receivers, the condition nodal officer said 3,328 individuals with co-morbidities, 3,326 enrolled building employees and their households, 7,463 unregistered construction employees and their households, 2,485 members of healthcare employees’ households and 330 prison offenders are vaccinated. Ludhiana contributes using 1 lakh dosesLudhiana is now major area of Punjab by administrating jabs into 1.03 lakh beneficiaries from the 18-44 age group till Monday. At the general coverage also, Ludhiana is in the country using 7.55 lakh individuals vaccinated. Deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma stated Ludhiana is followed closely by Patiala and Hoshiarpur by covering 56,480 along with 35,194 beneficiaries from the 18+ class. Jalandhar and Gurdaspur have far administrated dosages to 32,310 and 26,874.
