Nicobar: An earthquake of 4.6 on the Richter scale hit the Nicobar Islands on Friday.
According to the National Seismology Center (NCS), the vibration felt at 1:49 a.m.
at a depth of 150 kilometers.
“Earthquake magnitude: 4.6, occur on 06-08-2021, 13:49:16 Ist, Lat: 9.11 & Length: 93.90, Depth: 150 km, location: Nicobar Islands, India,” NC said in a tweet.
Previously on Wednesday, an earthquake of 5.6 hit Campbell Bay, Andaman and the Nicobar Islands at 11:27.
