4 Abandoned to fend for themselves as Mom dies

BALLIA:”We’re currently at God’s winner”, states 10-year-old Kajal, together with the duty of looking after her younger sisters after their mother died two weeks past because of coronavirus. Their dad Santosh Paswan had died of cancer around three decades back, after which their mom Poonam Devi was taking care of them. Poonam Devi expired on May 10, leaving her kids Kajal, Ruby, Renu and Ankush, dated five to 10. Their parents worked as labourers and had no other agricultural soil. “My mom has expired from coronavirus. We are 3 sisters and a brother. We had any foodgrain at the home but nothing is abandoned today. We’re currently’bhagwan bharose’ (in God’s winner ),” Kajal told colleagues at Dalanchhapra village at Ballia’s Bairia tehsil. Villagers say that they have two elder sisters, that are married and never in a place to care for those. “We’ve got nothing now,” says Ruby. But, seven-year-old Ankush needs to research and also join the police force once he develops. “Didi hamburgers for us. I need to research and join the police force,” states Ankush, who conducted the last rites of the mum. In his innocence, Ankush states he’ll wed with the support of contributions. Meanwhile, the Bairia SDM Prashant Nayak says that he is mindful of the mother’s passing and when every other member of the household takes their duty, financial help is going to be given for it until they presume age 18. The kids will soon be routed to a shelter house, ” he states.
