Bhopal: Five people, including four minors, allegedly raping an old woman in the Singrauli district on Sunday.
The incident occurred under Jayant police post jurisdiction from the district around 10pm when the victims returned home.
Initially, two were allegedly alleged children underage, but on verification of records, four found minors, while one was 24, police said.
“According to complaints, congratulations are the residents of the Morwa police station from the district.
He went to the sister’s house.
On Sunday, he returned home when the allegations went and took turns to rape him,” said Jayant police post responsible, Abhimanyu Dwivi told Tii.
He further said, “After the defendant escaped, congratulations to rush to the police station to register his complaint.
Based on his complaint, a registered case and we launched the hunt for the defendant”.
“All the defendants were arrested on Monday,” Dwivedi said.
