Kanpur: A total of six candidates submitted their nomination letter for assembly selection on Thursday.
A total of seven candidates now submitted their nomination in Kanpur.
Bharatiya Janata’s party contestants have submitted their nomination and two candidates for the Jamajwadi handed their letters to fight for the election.
SP candidates including Satish Nigam, former MLA who lost the election against Neelima Katiyar from BJP in 2017, submitted its nomination for Kalyanpur’s constituency Sagar was chosen as Mla from Bilhaur’s seat on BJP tickets in the last election.
So far he has represented three parties.
Other BJP candidates and sitting MLA Surendra Maithani from the election of Government Nagar have also submitted their nomination papers.
BJP Suresh candidate is Suresh Awasthi who has submitted a nomination for the Arya Nagar constituency.
Awasthi lost to Irfan Solanki, a SP candidate from Semamau’s constituency.
Nigam with a written statement has stated its moving property worth 1,00.28,782.89 including two cars, revolver and gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
His wife has around Rs 7.52.282 including gold ornaments worth Rs 7.50,000.
The number of Rs 32.00486 is in the HUF including a LIC policy.
He also owned the farm and plots at Kanpur City.
