New Delhi: Police Delhi submitted a court sheet in court here on Saturday against a crematorium priest and three others for accusing rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl in the Delhi Cantonment area earlier this month.
The final report of 400 pages named Radhey Shyam, a 55-year-old crematorium priest in the Southeast West Regency, and his employees – Kuldeep Singh, Salim Ahmad and Laxmi Narayan as defendants – claimed there was enough evidence against them.
The defendant was charged under Section 302 (murder), 304 (guilty killing did not amount to murder), 376D (gang rape), 342 (wrong confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation), 201 (crispness of evidence) and 34 (general intentions) and 34 34 (general intentions) and 34 () from IPC.
The four have also been drawn under section 6 (penetrative sexual attacks) from Pocso (Children’s protection from sexual violations) acting and part 3 (violations of cruelty) from the SC / ST Law.
