4 civilians were killed, 5 injured in the Kabul explosion

Kabul: At least four civilians were killed and five others suffered injuries in the explosion in Kabul City on Tuesday, local media reported quoting police statements.
The explosion occurred at around 2:50 p.m.
local time in the Sar-e-Chawk area on Jalan Maiwand in Kabul’s PD1, Tolo News reported.
“This type of explosion and target is unclear,” said the statement, added that “investigations were underway.” Afghanistan witnessed a surge in violence throughout the country when the Taliban progressed rapidly and controlled the more areas in the country hit by a war.
Taliban said they had controlled 85 percent of the country.
