4-day rainfall delays Mela Mela Projects

Prasagraj: With almost four days remaining for the beginning of the religious and spiritual month of the exhibition, Magh Mela officials on Monday took busy activities to complete a delayed project in the sector two, three, four and five.
Four consecutive rainy days undoubtedly delayed the settlement project but Magh Mela officials ran from the pillar to the post to repair plate plaid, pumping sand into water logging and fixing Ghats.
District Judge (Magh Mela) Shesh Mani Pandey told TOI that four-day rain inhibits Mela projects but we now take busy preparation to complete the project on time.
He admitted that many Ghats were built to bathe the worshipers submerged because they rose at the water level in the river and continuous rain.
However, the team has been engaged to repair Ghats.
In addition, activities were also taken to repair plaid plate in all sectors because the leveling plaid plate was disturbed due to continuous rain.
The Mela campus also witnessed water logging in many places that spread from the sector two to five and the labor team now pumped the sand to resolve water problems.

When most roads appear muddy and slippery, the workers cannot take jobs in such conditions”.
He, however, said, “We have now been waiting for a delayed job at the war foothold and all the works will be completed on January 14.
Magh Mela’s 47 days starts from January 14 at the edge of the Ganges.
