4 Delhi Dists Rainfall Record ‘Great Excess’

New Delhi: Four districts in Delhi have recorded rainfall “great advantages”, while three districts have measured the precipitation of “advantages” as far as this rainy season, according to the data of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD).
Only Northeast Delhi recorded the “deficit” rainfall – 149.9 mm against normal 332.2 mm since June 1, when the rainy season began.
Overall, capital has received 40 percent rainfall “advantages” so far – 409.9 mm against normal 293.4mm.
Central Delhi, who is the most rainy district in India until July 11, has recorded 62 percent more rainfall – 537.5 mm against a long-term average of 332.2mm.
North Delhi has received rainfall of 596.8 mm, which is 107 percent more than usual.
New Delhi has measured 468.4 mm precipitation, 80 percent more than the usual number.
Northwest Delhi has recorded 426.3 mm rainfall so far, which is 70 percent more than usual, while Southwest Delhi (465.8 mm) gets 56 percent more rain than average.
The National Capital has recorded 34.8 mm rainfall against normal 65.5mm in June.
In July, he received 507.1 mm rainfall, which was almost 141 percent above the average length of 210.6 mm.
It was also maximum rainfall in the month since July 2003, and the second highest ever.
Even though Monsun embraced Delhi only on July 13, making it the most delayed in 19 years, the capital had recorded 16 rainy days of the month, maximum in the past four years.
The weather department has expected normal rainfall – 95 to 106 percent of the long-term average – for Delhi in August.
IMD measures the performance of the monsoon in five large advantages (rainfall above 60 percent normal), excess (20 percent to 59 percent more than average), normal (minus 19 to 19 percent of normal), deficit (minus 20 percent For minus 59 percent) and a large deficit (60 percent below normal).
