Rajkot: The Forestry Department arrested four people accused of hunting down three Blackbucks near Velavadar National Park on Saturday.
Officers have also recovered animal carcasses and also weapons used to carry out hunting activities.
Blackbuck falls under a schedule of one of the wildlife protection laws.
During patrolling on December 3, forest officials found five people moving suspiciously in the bhavnagar income area.
They intercept these people who throw away animals and try to escape.
From them, two were arrested.
During the repulsion, accused the Buddha Vegad and Javed Pathhan revealed where they had disposed of their carcasses and weapons that had been restored by the forests.
Three accused had not been arrested.
Forest officials get information about two accused of other – Mohsinh Pathan and Soyab Qureshi and they were arrested on December 22 from their residence in Bhavnagar.
