Jammu: Raw District Police on Thursday arrested four accused more accused of their involvement in riots in the Laddha Dhar area in Jammu & Kashmir on August 10, where at least 12 people were injured.
Riots are triggered by grazing rights in the forest area.
The complainants alleged that they were attacked by around 100 members of the Gujjar community, which mainly became livestock maintenance and moved from grasslands to the meadow.
The arrest accusations have been identified as Zakir Hussain, Sher Ali, Abdul Rashid and Nazir Ahmed.
Two previous initial charges were arrested on August 12.
Fear of further increase tension, the district government has directed the Ministry of Forestry to resolve the earliest problem.
