Mumbai: Four police attached to the Juhu police station suspended and arrested in August last year for killing a 22-year-old man and then Chargesheeted had been restored by Mumbai police.
Four Cops-Santosh Desai (48), drawn Chavan (39), Ananda Gaikwad (37) and Ankush Palave (35) – has been suspected of attacking a 22-year-old 10-year-old resident, Raju Velu Devendra, on the night intervention 29 and 30 March 2020, as soon as the national locking was enforced considering the Coronavirus pandemic.

The murder case was registered in August 2020 in the complaints of Raju Manikam’s men and four police officers arrested as an investigation of the department began.
“The police have tried to protect four suspects, who even took digital video recorders from every CCTV camera covering the incident site and trying to pass the incident as a case of Mob Lynching,” Manikam said.

Lawyer Bahraiz Irani said he was surprised that four policemen had been taken back.
“The problem will be taken when this case comes to hear in court,” Iran told TII.
