Jinan: At least four people were killed and seven were still missing after the cargo ship sank off the coast of Yantai City, East China Shandong Province on Sunday morning, local media reported.
“So far, three people have been saved and four others were found dead,” Xinhua news agency reported.
Quoting the Beihai Rescue Bureau from the Ministry of Transportation, the news agency said that rescuers were looking for seven missing crew members after their cargo ship sank earlier on Sunday morning on the coast of Yantai City, East China Shandong Province.
A total of 14 crew members were on the board when the accident occurred.
The rescue bureau received an accident report at 4:43 a.m., he added.
