Prasagraj: When the process nomination for the fifth phase of the 2022-assembly poll, which includes three districts in Prayagraj, Kaushambi and Pratapgarh will start from February 1, four major parties including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Samajwadi Party (SP), Party Bahujan Samaj (BSP) and Congress along with their allies have not opened their cards and announced the names of their candidates from all 22 assembly seats offered in the region.
In the Prayagraj district, between the four main political players, the names of 48 candidates need to be announced for 12 assembly seats, but so far only 29 names (60.41%) have been officially stated by them.
19 The remaining names (39.58%) are still awaited.
Of the 22 assembly seats from three regional prayagraj regencies, Prayagraj is the biggest in terms of 12 assembly chairs, the next Pratapgrah with seven assembly chairs followed by Kaushambi with three assembly chairs.
Delays in naming candidates provide no sleep at prospective tickets from these parties and their supporters too.
BJP in power can so far only six candidates.
In the 2017 election, the Safron Party has lowered candidates only at nine out of 12 seats while the remaining three seats were given by Ally Apna Dal (Sonelal).
This time, there was talk about a total of four seats going to allies, including Apna Dal (s) and the Nishad party.
Because of the intense upheaval for the remaining seats in Kitty including Allahabad North and maybe Karchana, the party still saw his choice while giving Soron, Pratappur, Handia and coals to his allies and Congress had fought together but this time they were locked in a face-off .
So far the SP has announced the name of eighth candidate while BSP has announced nine candidates.
