Patna: The police are still groping in the dark in four murder cases in the Patna district in the last 20 days.
A property dealer, Ajay Shukla (40), was shot dead during the morning near Wisnupuri in the Beur area on August 12.
Then, on August 20, unknown armed criminals were shot dead Rajkumar Sao aka Sao door (40), Baank’s husband former Mukhiya Asha Devi Panchayat, close to Painal in Bihta.
The next morning, the police restored the body of Siddhnath Lal (55) from behind a temple in Rajpur Village in Bihta.
The attackers destroyed his head with heavy objects.
Around midnight August 21, sand smugglers shot dead farmers, Munna Rai (45), in Amnabad village in the Sone River belt in Bihta.
The next morning, the police restored the body of an electrician, Varun Thakur (35), thrown in the fields covered with vegetation near the entrance to the Air Force station in Bihta.
When asked, the Beur police station Sho Amit Kumar said the police had not confirmed the reason behind Shukla’s murder.
“Members of his family have filed brilliantly against unknown people.
The police tried to ensure the identity of four shooters,” he said.
Police Station Bihta, Rituraj Kumar Singh said the reasons and killers involved in Lal’s murder were confirmed.
