Ahmedabad: While seven of the 10 students in the leading PGP program Iim Ahmedabad (IIM-A) are still engineers, the non-engineer ratio up from 22% in the last batch to 28% in the batch that was discussed on Thursday.
From 28%, 21% were trade graduates, followed by 5% of art and 2% science graduates.
In addition, the number of female students rose 6% from 22% in the last batch to 28% in a batch now.
About one third of students did not have a previous industrial experience, mention class analysis entering by IIM-A officials.
At 385, this is the smallest batch in three years.
Last year, B-School had recognized 392 students.
The PGP-FABM program has 47 students.
