Gumla: Three PLFI operatives were detained by Lohardaga authorities from a spot near a roadside dhaba across the Lohardaga-Ranchi street under Kuru police station on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said Wednesday.
The operatives were likely to commit a bank robbery in Simdega district.
Three guns and two bikes were captured by them.
The arrested were identified as Sonu Ansari, Vikas Oraon, Bharat Baitha and Prakash Chaubey, all by Ranchi district.
Lohardaga SP Priyanka Meena explained,”We obtained a tip-off that many questionable persons with guns were seen near a dhaba on the Lohardaga-Ranchi street.
A police team headed by Lohardaga SDPO Vashisht Narayan Singh was put up to nab them” Meena said they captured a 9mm pistol with 2 bullets, both two country-made pistols, five .315 bore reside capsules, two bikes and one cellular telephone from their ownership.
“These were detained before on rates of murder, loot, extortion and beneath divisions of the Act.
They’ve been active members of the outlawed PLFI for the past two to three decades,” she explained.
After coming from jail, they began running with PLFI commander Pune Oraon that was killed in an experience before.
