Ajmer: Four people were burned alive after two trucks came from the opposite direction colliding on the beawar-jaipur bypass in the ajmer district on Tuesday morning.
The highway was jammed when a high fire erupted from both vehicles following the incident.
All the four bodies in the truck were really burned.
The police reached a place to control the fire and regulate traffic.
The police cannot identify them, but are believed that they are drivers and helpers from both trucks.
The police tried to identify the deceased based on the registration number of the two vehicles.
“Both trucks come from the opposite direction, one from the Beawar and others from Jaipur, colliding directly,” said Deputy SP Mukesh Soni.
He added that the truck came from the side of Jaipur crossing the road divider and crashing into the second truck that came from the side of the Beawar.
After a collision, the two trucks were burning and did not provide an opportunity for people sitting inside to escape.
The villagers gathered at the crash site and needed two hours for the fire squad to control the flame.
Police officials reached the place and arranged traffic on both sides.
The four body was sent to the hospital Jln in Ajmer for post-mortem.
