Ahmedabad: Police Vastrapur plays Spoilsport at a birthday party a student engineering at a hotel in Thaltej, where he and three others enjoyed a party with beer cans on Thursday night.
Police said the Psi Police Vastrapur got input that two men and two women entered a hotel in Thaltej and was considered holding a liquor party.
Acting on the input, the Vastrapur police team reached the hotel and asked the receptionist about four people.
They were told that they had booked a room on the third floor to celebrate their birthday.
A police team climbed up and knocked on door room number 307 and a birthday boy, a 21-year-old young man from Gandhinagar, opened the door.
The police then broke through and found that two women, around 21 and 19 years old, residents of Bodakdev and Paldi, and a man, 21, a resident of Thaltej, had a beer.
A police officer said that they found two empty beer cans distributed by four and the third still had not been opened.
The police seized a beer who had not been opened and checked all the four young men found them drunk.
The police also confiscated a namkee package and a bottle of water as ‘Muddamal’.
