Nashik: The Maharashtra government on Monday was suspended by Ahmednagar District, Dr.
Sunil Pokharna and three other people while ending the service from two nurses in connection with the API in the Ahmednagar Civil Hospital County which killed 11 Covid patients.
The Minister of Health of Rajesh Tope Tweeted on Monday night Pokharna, two medical officers – Dr.
Suresh Dakhe and Dr.
Vishaka Shinde – and Nurse staff Sapna Pathare has been suspended.
Service of two nurses staff, Asma Sheikh and Chhana Anant, have been stopped.
“We have taken action against six based on the initial information that we have followed the breakdown of the fire incident in Ahmednagar a civil hospital,” Tope said in his tweet.
The seventeen covid patient was in the ICU when a fire occurred on Saturday morning.
While 11 patients died in the flames, the remaining six continued burns.
Earlier on Monday, Ahmednagar Guardian Minister Hasan Mushrif said the District Planning Committee (DPC) had issued a resolution to take “the right action” against Pokharna for fire.
Civil Surgeon, Three Others Suspended Nagar Minister Guardian Hasan Mushrif said the team investigated the fire, led by Nashik Division Commissioner Radhakrishna games, would hand over his findings within a week.
When contacted by Toi about the DPC meeting, Pokharna rejected comments.
“I will not comment on anything related to fire like that in an investigation,” he said.
Mushrif said the DPC was approved by Rs 2.5 Crore for civil hospitals.
