Gurgaon: Wing Engineering Corporation City Gurgaon (MCG) on Thursday, is the fourth team to conduct a survey and identify infrastructure deficiencies in 11 private colony to be taken over by a civilian body.
The move came a day after MCG Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja directed officials to expedite the work takeover of the colony.
Each team consists of executive engineers, assistant engineers and junior engineers.
The team will survey the colony and prepare a cost estimate to complete the infrastructure work is lacking.
The meeting to review the survey report will be held on September 22 at the MCG Commissioner’s office, officials said.
“The team must submit a forecast shortage of work to be done in private colonies within 15 days,” read a letter sent by the superintending engineer-2 to the engineering wing officials on Thursday.
For Mayfield Park, Malibu Towne and Vipul World, a team consisting of Satpal executive engineer, assistant engineer Junior Engineer Krishan Kumar and Rahul Khan will make a report.
Satpal Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer Krishan Kumar Kapil will survey the town of Rosewood and housing Uppal.
Another team, including executive engineer Sunder Sheoran, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineers Waseem Akram Millan and Rahul, will prepare estimates of Sushant Lok-2 and 3, Greenwood City and Ardee City.
Another team comprising executive engineer Naveen Dhankar, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer Dinesh Kumar Harikishan will conduct a survey in DLF-4 and 5.
On Wednesday, Commissioner MCG has directed officials to establish a special team to complete the work which is lacking in this colony.
Haryana Chief Minister has announced the takeover of these colonies in 2017.
The MCG officials said that eight of these private colonies have given their approval for the takeover, while they have not received the approval of the three – Ardee City and DLF-4 and DLF-4 and DLF-4 and 5.
Civic body should handle utility to private licensed colonies, including water, drainage, roads and street lighting, after taking over the colony, according the plan.
This process includes identifying the shortage of infrastructure and prepare the estimate to complete pending work.
In the event that the developer failed to complete the pending work within the stipulated time, MCG take it out with the cost of the developer.
In December 2019, the state government directs MCG to speed up the process.
The corporation then seek information from DTCP on building plans, layout of storm drains, water and sewer lines, parks, the total number of plots, construction year and status in the community center’s colony-center.
