New Delhi: Four men have been arrested for allegedly threatening parking contractors and robbing their servants in Gunpoint in the Rani area of Banthwest Northwest Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
The first accusation threatened the parking contractor and asked him to pay extortion.
When he refused, they robbed the officers, police said.
The defendant has been identified as Rahul Gupta (31), a resident of Rama Vihar, Manish (42) and Amjad (24), both residents of Mangolpuri, and Javed (34), Rohini residents, they said.
Rahul Kamra, a car park contractor in the Dda complex at Rani Bagh said on August 6, two cars arrived there and a man named Rahul alias Nakta threatened him and asked him to RS 50,000 as a squeeze, said the failure would lead to his men took over the parking lot , Police said the complainant refused to pay, followed which he began receiving threatening calls, police said.
On Monday, four men arrived and robbed Rs 8,700 from the parking lot in Gunpoint.

Rahul revealed that he had previously been involved in 14 criminal cases.
He was released with a guarantee on February 6 and while in detention, he met Yogesh Dahiya who was a Gogi Gang member, police said.
After leaving the prison, Rahul formed a gang to run a squeeze racket, and worked above the direction of Dahiya.
He received instructions from Dahiya about targeting people who run MCD parking on contracts, said Singh.
He began to threaten the complainant and when the complainant refused to surrender, Javed along with his accomplice of his robbery, they said.
Rahul also asked Dahiya to call a complainant from prison to terrorize it.
The three-made states with four live cartridges, cash 4,200 cash and one car recovered from their ownership, added the police.
