4 was held for the attack on the dalit youth to eat panipuri

MySuru: Police on Wednesday said that four people were arrested in connection with the attack on five Dalits who were beaten to enjoy Panipuri in Arasinakere Village.
In their complaint to Jayapura police, the young men Dalits wrote that they were beaten to enter the caste area over the village to eat Panipuri on the night of January 13.
According to the police, they were attacked between 5 pm and 19:30.
Local people have approached Jayapura police on the same night and alleged that some men had attacked Dalit youth.
Chetan police supervisor and other senior officers visited the tense village after the attack.
“We registered a case under the caste law and the scheduled incident (prevention of atrocities).
Four people have been arrested,” Chetan said.
All five were injured in the attack were treated at KR Hospital in the city.
Other groups have filed counter complaints.
