Rajkot: The carcass of around 40 birds was found near the Lakhota Lake of Jamnagar on Saturday.
According to bird lovers, the majority of dead birds are Duck Indian spots.
In the past too many bird incidents and fish deaths were reported on the lake.
Suresh Bhatt, President of Lakhota Nature Club, said, “The main reason for death is pollution.
There are several hospitals and some brass factories that throw waste material illegally into the lake.” Lakhota is a natural lake.
His beauty project was carried out by Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC) a few years ago.
There are more than 300 migration species visiting this lake every year.
