City: Bundi police with the help of local residents saved at least 35-40 passengers on Wednesday morning after a Rajasthan Roadways bus from the city depot was stuck in overflowing rainwater in the city of Lajus between Laban and Makhija villages in Deikheda District in Bundi.
Bundi SP Shivraj Meena and Collector Aashish Gupta rushed to a place to oversee rescue operations with the help of people.
All passengers are trapped in the middle of the water that overflows above the slope of the road near Laban Village saved, Meena said.
The SDRF team was also called from the city, but the rescue operation was completed before they arrived, said Deikheda Sho Satyanarayan Gurjar.
