Ludhiana: Forty cases of new dengue fever were reported in Ludhiana on Wednesday.
Of these, 38 comes from urban areas and two of the rural parts.
According to the District Administration, 3,297 alleged cases of dengue fever have been reported here so far, where 1,335 is confirmed.
From confirmed cases, 1,096 came from urban areas and 239 from rural areas.
520 patients were hospitalized, including 16 in government facilities and 504 in private health arrangements.
