Vadodara: With Covid-19 restrictions reduced and overcoming economic activity, the number of people traveling to work, recreation or other reasons have seen waves.
This has caused an increase in the ratio of travelers between the new Covid-19 infection list in Vadodara.
One general and important question that was asked for people infected with Covid suspected or confirmed was about the history of his trip in the past.
At the beginning of the pandemic, this was done to ascertain whether he had visited an affected area or country and had been a practice since then.
The question remains relevant again because the number of Covid-19 cases has increased marginally in the city and the number of cases with a significant travel history at almost 40%.
Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) official said that there was time since July when it was difficult to establish an epidemiological link and the source of infection remained a mystery.
“We have cases like today, but there is a steady increase in the number of positive cases with the history of the trip,” said an official.
The source shows that in many cases, including a family in Subhanpura, some family members or the same group traveling together has been tested positively.
“The trip has increased not only for free time, but also to work,” the official said.
The VMC medical officer Dr.
Devesh Patel said that it was possible to infect a high trip because often people tended to disappoint their guards.
“They may not take sufficient precautions when traveling,” he said.
Epidemiologists show that travelers are also exposed to more people while on a bus, train or flight and at the train station or airport.
The casing is the same when eating outside, sightseeing or other situations.
The source, however, said that of 43 tourists who tested positive only two hospitalized required.
They add that traveling must be done with the necessary precautions.
“Vaccination and the high number of cases in the second wave seem to have given good immunity,” said a VCM official.
