Patna: Two unknown bicycle criminals were fired dead by a trader in front of the official Bungalow Judge Judge Katathar in the police colony that was very safe in the city Tuesday night.
Traders who were killed were identified as Jha Pampam, 40.
He had his own personal residence in the colony.
SDO and other senior government officials also have their residence in the colony under the rest of the Sahakay police from the City Police Station area.
The incident occurred within two weeks of the former Mayor of Katathar Shivraj Paswan near Santoshi Chowk in the city on 29 July night.
Police police officer responsible Sanjay Kumar said Jha returned home on his bicycle after closing a general store in Mirchaibari when two criminals tapped and shot him in his head twice.
“The wife of Jha Khusbu Devi accused her cousin from her home place in Gopalpur in Naugacchia, Bhagalpur, because they had a property dispute,” he said.
“Raids was carried out in Gopalpur but no one was arrested.
Jha has also filed a brilliant shot against several cousins for the same dispute as the Gopalpur police station last year,” he said.
He said no empty cartridge was restored from the place.
