400 zero registration schools are closed in Arunachal Pradesh: cm

Itanagar: Minister of Arunachal Minister Pradesh Pema Khandu said the state government had improved the entire educational scenario and closed the school with zero registration.
He said that the number of government schools in this country has increased from only three since independence to more than 3,000 but the quality in education has not witnessed the desired increase.
“We have so far closed around 400 registration schools throughout the state and decided to choose one school in each of the 60 assembly constituencies to be developed as a school model with all facilities,” Khandu said on Tuesday while inaugurating the permanent campus of government colleges at Bomdila in the Kameng Barat district.
The main minister asked community-based organizations to visit their area and recommend which schools can be closed and the school on the outskirts that can be beaten into one, the official communique said.

“Let’s be a club school located not far from each other into one and focus on its development with the right infrastructure and a sufficient teacher,” he added.
The new permanent campus of college is located on the outskirts of Bomdila, district headquarters, in a piece of 70 hectares.
Founded in 1988, universities are being carried out in a higher secondary school building.
Khandu thanked the villagers for donating land for permanent campus and said that the new infrastructure was created in a perfect atmosphere in the distance from the city would encourage more students about education.

Khandu said that currently 478 assistant professors teaches in 19 government universities while around 400 is more needed other than, there are shortcomings of around 110 staff in this college.
He directed the education commissioner to personally process the recruitment of the workforce by taking him to files in a cabinet meeting which will be held in December.
“We will take problems in the next cabinet meeting and approve the recruitment of the required workers through the Arunachal Pradesh (APPSC) Public Service Commission and the Arunachal Pradesh (APSSB) staff selection agency,” YGUU sure.

Repeating the commitment of the state government to improve the state education scenario, Khanda said 2021 was declared a ‘education year’.
