Patna: a gradual downtrend in the case of the Daily Covid continued on Wednesday with only 4,063 people infected in the last 24 hours, compared to 4,551 on Tuesday.
However, the State Health Department reported 11 deaths because Covid in the last 24 hours, took the toll as a whole to 12,156.
But Aiims-Patna also reported two deaths on Wednesday.
The deceased includes a 62-year-old man from Lakhisarai and a 56-year-old man from Buxar.
Fresh covid cases on Patna down to three digits after about 10 days.
State capital recorded 999 cases on Wednesday, which was still the highest in the state in the last 24 hours.
Other districts that reported a large number of Covid cases including 296 in Samastipur, 218 in Purnia, 214 in Bhagalpur and 157 in Kesatar, among others.
The crisis management group meeting chaired by the Secretary of the Chief Amir Subhani was held on Wednesday to discuss Covid restrictions after January 21.
