New Delhi: The leading 400m runner in India Mr.
Poovamma has come out of the National Camp in Patiala because of an injury, said a source on Sunday night.
“Because Poovamma injury does not compete in the final selection test held for today [Sunday] here in Patiala to choose two female athletes for the Mixed 4x400m Indian Relay Team,” the source told IANS.
Development can produce a large setback for the Indian Athletics Federation (AFI) to involve a strong 4x400M mixed relay team at the Tokyo Olympics, starting July 23.
