Ludhiana: Forty-one students and a staff member of the Nursing College in Malakpur bet in Ludhiana has tested positive Covid.
A civil surgeon Dr.
SP Singh said, “Of the 64 students of the DMCH nursing college who was tested, 41 had been tested positive for Covid.
Of the 32 staff staff, someone was confirmed to sign a virus.
From positive students, two to three came from Ludhiana.
23 students have been hospitalized and the rest are in house isolation.
“The Ministry of Health officials said students came from the first year and hostellers.
Secretary of the DMCH managing the Prem Community of Kumar Gupta said, “We have made new acceptance 10 days ago and students have tested positive.
Most students have mild symptoms.
We have admitted them to health facilities that need hospitalization.
We have closed the nurse’s hostel Nursing and Medical College Hostel.
